Monica Lagercrantz

Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of ownership, boards and senior leadership, advising in environments where expectations are high and complexity is increasing.

My professional background spans more than three decades and combines operational experience as a founder and CEO with senior advisory roles within leading international executive search and board advisory firms. I have also served as a board director and worked early in my career as legal counsel, giving me a grounded understanding of governance from multiple perspectives.

Before establishing my own advisory platform, I was a senior partner at Russell Reynolds Associates and Heidrick & Struggles, where I held country leadership roles and played a key role in building sector practices, including Financial Services, and establishing strong positions with private equity clients. Over the years, this work involved extensive board and leadership advisory, senior appointments and assessments at the highest level.

This experience has shaped a nuanced understanding of how owners, boards, chairs and CEOs make decisions about leadership, governance and the future — and what enables those decisions to translate into long-term value creation.
